DPS Construction is owned and operated by Steve Sebrell. Steve has 20 years experience in the construction industry - primarily in residential construction & remodeling with additional commercial experience.

Steve was born and raised outside of Youngstown, Ohio. As a teen he was interested in art, photography, and drawing. He was introduced to wood work and metal work and building things with his hands quickly became a talent and an interest. Steve discovered the excitement in being able to bring to life an idea or vision. He continues that work today with DPS Construction.

Steve worked in construction, in Ohio, for a little over a decade, before moving to the Carolinas in 2001, to be closer to family. He worked in and around the Charlotte metropolitan area before relocating to the Outer Banks in 2003. During his time in the Outer Banks - DPS Construction was formed focusing on vacation home construction.

Steve relocated to Charlotte, in 2006, to focus on developing DPS Construction into a more full-service residential remodeling and construction company. During his time in Charlotte, Steve has leveraged his knowledge and skills, in all areas of construction, to expand DPS Services to include Additions & Basements, Interior Trim & Details, Kitchens & Bathrooms, Outdoor Living spaces, Exterior Trim & Siding and other custom carpentry related projects.

Steve is interested in and committed to the environment. He has been pursuing additional education in Sustainable Technology and Materials. His interest is particularly relevant in the residential construction arena - where material and product selection can be both environmentally responsible and fiscally savvy.

DPS Construction stays busy due to a strong trend of customer referrals. DPS Construction customers are so pleased with the results of their projects - that they often refer friends and colleagues to DPS Construction. During 2009 & 2010 - 95% of DPS projects were a result of customer referrals.
